Recovery Programs Summary
Men's New Life Recovery Program is a Christ-centered, 12-18 month, residential, bio-psycho-social-spiritual program centered predominately around the Genesis Process and also includes graduate tansitional housing. Recovery curriculum includes Bible study, relapse prevention, anger management, vocational training and disciplined Christian living. Women's and Children's Ministries/House of Hope is a faith-based, 12-24 month residential program which seeks to offer participants the tools necessary to live a life of recovery. Recovery curriculum includes Bible study, relapse prevention and learning to speak with a healthy emotional vocabulary. The program offers graduates additional opportunities to become self sufficient including the House of Grace transitional home, post graduate programs, transportation, mentors & food assistance. In-Step Dual Diagnosis (Mental Illness + Addiction) Program at the Good News Rescue Mission provides co-case management with Shasta County Mental Health. The program assists participants as they maintain their prescribed medication and counseling regimens while also taking on a rigorous substance abuse recovery process.
