  • Growing In their Foundation

It is truly amazing how God is working in the In-Step program. We have 5 program memeber's right now who are working really hard at changing their lives. We actually have a gentleman right now who was with us 4 years ago he left and was gone for a while. i asked him what was differnt this time and he said my life is out of control and i need help. I have another gentleman who is getting ready to graduate. after being in prison for 6 years, he came to us and knew he needed to do something different with his life. He applied for the MPS position which is the 5th phase of his program, i asked him why he wanted to be a ministry practicum student and he said " i want to give back to the place that gave me life".

I love to watch what God can do to a life that is broken, He never gives up. To watch a life come into program and see the change happen is very exciting. To make changes in our lives it takes alot of hard work, tears, stretching and growing pains.

I asked two of the ladies what they have gotton out of program so far and this is what they said. I don't get to see the miracles that Jesus did when he was here on earth but i know what miracles he is doing in my life. The other woman siad. This program has given me a different out look on how i have been living my life. What seemed so right to me has been the very thing that has destroyed my life, now i am learning how to change and be open to the change.

    In Christ~ Micoa Furr
